You’re probably asking - What is this Cheerful Tipper stuff all about anyway?

 

Is this just another way to leave a comment for someone?  That’s been done.

 

So, what is about?  Really, it’s about taking something we are obligated to do and instead -

hopefully -  Making Someone's Day!

 

Yes, you may be in a restaurant and the server was terrible and you let them know their service wasn’t good by rating the “hats” on the card.  But the difference is that most people would also leave a scathing comment or a really bad tip.  Which hey, you have every right to do.

But what if maybe, instead, we can use the card to make a difference in this server's life.  We get to help them know exactly what they did or didn't do, plus adding something to hopefully help them WANT to get better.  Without the card, if a person just leaves a bad tip, the server is left thinking the person was just cheap or a jerk - and they may never know what the issue really was so they can get better.

 

That’s why Cheerful was created - - now we have a way to leave our comments right then and there, while also trying to turn around a bad situation and even help a person who might just be having a bad day.  

 

Quick story.  I heard about a server who wasn’t too happy and not doing a very good job.  Instead of the table getting mad and making things worse, they started a conversation with the server and found out his child was in the hospital with a life-threatening issue.  The boss had evidently told him he had to come in or he could lose his job, so he was having a hard time focusing.  These customers ended up helping the server by being understanding – and even praying for him and his child.  They made his day!  They even found out later that his child got well!
